4,000 riders gathered on what was a very fresh autumn morning, to helped make this event live up to its name as a truly “Classic Ride”.

As the day rolled on riders were greeted by a spectacular blue sky and light breeze, making for near perfect ride conditions.

 

Congratulations to all riders who completed the 145km and 60 km rides!

 

Thanks to all the volunteers, including those from the local CFA, Lions Club, medic crew, bike maintenance team, and ASCEND ride ambassadors for all there work; as well as all the staff from Super Sprint for bringing together such a great event.

 

The team at ASCEND would also like to announce after such a positive response to our products and fantastic day all round, we will be joining forces with Super Sprint again to support the Degaini Kinglake ride in September 2009; so keep training hard with ASCEND, and we’ll see you at the next event!
